Curiouser and Curiouser!

Retreat nested tables at 'the Curious Nest'

Last winter at the Sand Point Antique & Design Market in Seattle, we met a charming and stylish European couple when they shopped our booth. Andrea and Laurent Savar told us their plans to open a new boutique in Seattle back then, and we have heard about their progress along the way {including buying trips to FRANCE.... le sigh}.

We have been honored by their choices of some Retreat designs as their display fixtures for the shop... Andrea & Laurent attended our Autumn Petite Retreat and had a field day selecting furniture & lighting for their new retail space! Several are shown in the photos above.
Their beautiful boutique, 'the Curious Nest', opened this past weekend!

It is, of course, as charming as they are! Their website describes them this way: "The Curious Nest is home to assortment of found and created treasures. From French antiques and found objects to one-of-a-kind artwork created by local artisans, our hope is to present a collection of unique and ever changing items to complete your own nest." Andrea snapped some photos of the shop before opening the doors, and you can see it all in this post on her blog. This is certainly a very welcome addition to the vintage scene in Seattle - make sure you visit them this holiday season!
