Shop Retreat ONLINE!

Something new for 2011: Our Online Store!
We've taken 'Petite Retreat' to the next level and created
the Petite Retreat Boutique

With Petite Retreat Boutique Online, you can easily purchase the products that we offer by using PayPal buttons right in the product listing. We're not offering a slew of things, just special finds & creations that are small enough to allow for shipping. And an occasional piece of furniture just for the 'local crowd' ;0)

to browse our offerings, which will update frequently.
Most items are very limited quantity or one of a kinds, so don't miss out!

Several times each year, we'll open our 'brick & mortar' Petite Retreat Boutique Seasonal Store for intimate shopping events. Located on our farm on North Camano Island, Washington, the store will feature Retreat products, vintage & antique finds from several dealers, and select handmade items from some of our favorite vendors. You'll find us stocked and ready for Mother's Day Weekend and the ENTIRE Holiday season of November & December!

We'll be offering larger events, as well: Our new Retreat Vintage Market events on our farm will feature 20+ of the best vintage & handmade vendors we have found in our travels - and we've invited them to the Northwest just for you. We look forward to bringing you some great vintage shopping experiences this year!
By the way, if you are a retailer interested in learning about
how to offer RETREAT furniture products in your store,
please email us at RetreatStyle@Gmail.com

Yes, We ARE Still Moving...

Do you know what this is?
An empty storage unit!
All of the household furnishings that were CRAMMED into it
[from floor to ceiling, wall to wall ]
are now in our house.
That's PROGRESS!
Do you know what THIS is?
Bob doing the happy dance, of course!

One down, Two to go.
Thank goodness only one of the two left is this big... ;0)
They say we'll get sunshine and no rain on Wednesday
so we may get the smaller of the two done!

Display Resources

We invite you to visit Deb's guest post on the

In it, Deb shares helpful info on how to effectively display
antique & vintage goods in a mall or show booth.
The resources she shares in the article were developed
for a seminar presentation to antique & vintage vendors
in the Northwest at a show here several years ago.

Whether you are an antique/vintage vendor or retailer,
you can find more helpful display resources from Deb

There's No Place Like Home

You can see the resemblance, right?

The lower image is of the famous 'Walton House' from the 70's TV show.
The TOP image is our new house.
Not exactly the same, but similar
Especially that front PORCH! Oh, how we LOVE that porch.
It has some really charming details!
The back and sides look a bit less charming.... right now
But you know us, we have plans to add vintage charm
to every part of our 'new-ish' house
{and get rid of the dark, foreboding evergreens that are everywhere}
There's a lot of work ahead, but it's a labor of love
and we are looking forward to every minute of it.
This house, this blessing, this promise fulfilled, blows us away.
Home. At last. Sigh......

'Goodnight, JohnBoy!'
